Hi all, the following is a diagnostic and repair procedure for the CM series and CPC series of Combi-steamer ovens. This came from a CM201, however simular units are fitted to the 61/101/102 and 202, as well as the CPC series, from 61 through to 202. Fault is oven has tripped main breaker, which can in some cases be reset to restore full function. There is always a reason the oven tripped the breaker and it should be investigated. The power factor correction capacitor could be the cause of the tripped breaker, and should be checked for physical damage, as seen in the following photo: The unit contains multiple components, and is non repairable. If it looks like the photo above, it has failed and should be removed. The oven will function perfectly without this fitted, however it may result in increased power wastage due to poor power factor.
