Did you notice the cap of focus board that remains crushed in the inner panel of the frame? This can cause cap problems and bad contact of the upper tray. In some frames a circular loop was made by the manufacturer. In mine there is not this modify and the cap is clearly damaged even if the focus board works perfectly. I couldn't get my friend's focus card to work in my system because the board's connector didn't fit completely into the motherboard slot.
Hello Domenico, Yepp, on later revisions of the focus board, Barco changed that cap with a higher value but those were some mm longer. The newer versions of BR909's had the chassis modified too, but if one used the upgraded focus board on a not modified frame.....ouchhh.... I had to cut the frame on one of my Cine Max machine in the past too. The issue was discussed few years ago on this forum, if i'm not wrong, started by Casey.
jbmeyer13: Wolfy's Marquee isn't working? Did you spill a pint on it and short the MB?

wolfman: Always the same sarkasm Kurt that's why I never checked in until now. I knew you wouldn't give me a cheerful answer so let you hang for a while. Removed the last part you probably are a decent guy Eye to Eye.

wolfman: So how's the black level on that thing? When the screen is supposed to go pitch black do you perceive it as genuinely black? Like the opening of CARS where it goes on and off pitch black. Or Prometheus with stars against a pitch black space.. or any Sci-Fi
