Also worth trying another convergence board. Some of them, with revision number lower than 3, had blue oscilation problems. There is a service bulletin here somewhere, it involves changing 8 resistors. Of course, the best way is to swap with another convergence board, to be sure it is the issue. We have change all resistors as described in service bulletin.

I resume the post: We found the problem: the issue of top-bow regulations was caused of a issue of SMPS/G2 Diagnostic board. We found a blow fusible, swap the board and now the top/bow regulations works fine. We tried to replace the fusible of the defective board but it blown again. So with the SMPS/G2 spare board the projector is almost ready to work but remain a little issue: the pulsating light of the blue tube. We tried to replace tube but the issue not fix.

Did you notice the cap of focus board that remains crushed in the inner panel of the frame? This can cause cap problems and bad contact of the upper tray. In some frames a circular loop was made by the manufacturer. In mine there is not this modify and the cap is clearly damaged even if the focus board works perfectly. I couldn't get my friend's focus card to work in my system because the board's connector didn't fit completely into the motherboard slot.

What is it? It looks like a circuit of a frame. But it is not that of a 1209s. What should I check?

He can try to disconnect the HT leads to the tubes, and let only the red one for example, then only the blue, then only the green. That we will check that no tubes are shorted. Just tried, same issue.

I sold a projector around 5 years ago, the new owner contacted me because he has some problems.
After about 30 minutes from power on the tubes turn off. The fans turn and LEDs light up.
The red LED on the EHT card lights up.
He tried to change all the elements of the high voltage: eht, quad and splitter but the inconvenient is always the same. Any suggestions?
