This controller have also difficult with remote control π I can not able to use it. Only fixed remote for power on only. Could be a symptom of supply issue? Is this the same one showing -8v for the -12v line?

But as you see there, mine has the -12v at -13.1v so there must be an issue there for sure, im amazed its not shutting the set down.

as i did say earlier on i remember mine all being quite random, but not that random! I found the pic from when i first bought the set, the 17v was a fair way off so the rest will be a bit wonky too:

Hi all ive got the 2 Barco projectors, one being an early Cine 9/MAX and the other being a Reality 909. The mainboard, as in the big one in the chassis that everything connects to, is different between the two sets. The later one has significantly more components on it, mostly large capacitors. What is the difference between the two and what advantages does the later board have over the original? My Cine 9 has run without a hitch for the past 2 years now and has been very stable. Im running the later version controller and later SMPS2, as well as later convergenge and astig boards.

Hello I am here after a message from Hulio, a number of problems have come my way, but I am ok now Decibel i did not receive any email but have just read your notification. R50 mod is a very fragil when open it ads an dc shift between 2v and 3v (memory is rusty) , that will overload the convergence amplifiers. I think the wavy lines is most probebly coming from a supply line on the controller board that is noisy as suggested by mastertech and others check the supply lines. (the caps used on the controller supply section are low quality. Removing j571 will also cut off signals on j572 so j572 can still be contaminated to ,j571 containes the wok signal ( waves ok) without that signal al signals on convergence board are cut . Also add 100uf on +v5p because there is no cap there on the early versions of controller boards and makes +5vp noisy and the 3.3v is made of this voltage. Am confused about the -12v being -8v because there is no -12v fed to the diagnostic ad's on the smps2 ?? Youre back!! Im back!! Everyone is back!! The gang's all here i too have had a really rough past two years, but getting back on track now. Good to see you back again mate

No im using Gregstv modded boards in my Barco and Eisemann sim tubes, which improved things considerably.
I havent measured light in ft/l so i dont know.
Flicker at 48Hz is very minor and hardly noticed, 60Hz there is none, and 72Hz looks basically identical to 60Hz.
2560x1600 @48hz still shows scanlines, so its not beyond the scope of being usable, and Windows text is still readable. It is softer than 1920x1080 though, youre right there.
Ive posted pics of 2560x1440 on here before and you can see theyre still quite sharp enough to be watchable.
Hows life been anyway Kurt? I had a really good laugh at you arguing with a bunch of guys on another forum about the HD Fury 4, funniest part was you were dead right and i dont know what they were thinking but they seemed to think it was the best device around... Lucky if you can even get the damn thing to work half the time.

Small contamination in itself is harmless, the more contamination the tube have there is less ability to shut the tube off, or generally control. Yeah it doesnt seem to be bad enough to affect black yet, but it wasnt there 6 months ago. I have a blue tube here that needs to have cutoff set about 20 ( 1-99 is range ) and drive was set quite low too.

Kurt there is easily more than 100MHz on a modded Barco.
48Hz is quite fine to watch without a drama, its sharp and looks great.

I imagine the MOOME could, i dont know.
You cant do 30Hz, but the output of that over HDMI is progressive, so 48Hz or 60Hz interlaced would be simular.

Hard to find any video cards with analog outputs at all these days, ive got a few older ones around that still do, but none ive seen are over 400MHz either.

Should be able to do it via HDMI output, since they can output 3840x2160p @30hz
