Also... is the rotor attached to the pulley at the bottom with a bolt...or is it just connected with a key way. Everything so far is a tap and ply, so I was curious if that will work to get the rotor out. Should be a bolt and a slight press fit.

BTW ... this project is in a 2002 Rexhall Aerbus(44,000 miles)... Gen Hours reads 1038.3 I'm checking both vendors for part# cross reference & leadtime.

Yes... seemed like a great deal. most everything else is in working order. We still like the rig. Gutted the interior(except kitchen) so she can redecorate, now new floor, toilette, seating & sleeping spaces...still learning the electrical, what comes on with the coach batteries & what comes on with the chassis battery. what charges when connected to shore power...etc. I added a A/F meter to the O2 sensors, & a vacuum gauge. They are the tools I've used to get 28 mpg with the SVO(the left foot needs some guidance ;-)).
The RV & Auto Parts group confirmed the rotor they listed was correct for this Generac... but then after I bought it they opened the box and don't have it in stock. I found another on eBay...or we'll look into transforming the generator space into solar battery storage.

SCHWALM S4A077005H 077005H Rotor is an obsolete item. I have called 4 different parts warehouses. It appears to be no longer available. ..so I either put it back together with new brushes, or pull it & part it out.

I found that one too...on eBay Bought it..then they called said it had a big crack ...no good. so refunded ...now I'm back to square one again. the gasoline engine is good...starts right up.

And of course by same problem I mean the same problem as the original topic. No power coming out of the generator but runs fine.
