I replaced my worn out bulb with a new one, and when I turned it back on it kind of "sizzeled" and there was a puff of smoke. *bad sign* I shut it all down and tried to remove the bulb but it was stuck. Projector actually worked for a few days despite an occasional burnt electrical smell, until it finally shut down. Removed cover to find the bulb connector melted and wiring harness stuck together. Trying to figure out if I just need a new lamp connector, but can't find part #'s. Thanks for the help! Garen

Looks like the lamp connection wasn't making proper contact - a lot of current on the connectors will do exactly what happened to your lamp as a result of a poor connection. I've only had something similar happen once. The projector still worked but the lamp socket was toasted.
I have the lamp connector for the lamp, but doubting I have the one needed for the projector on hand. Did you look at the connector in the projector itself where the lamp connects? How does that connector look compared to the lamps?

Jeremy,
Thanks for helping, If I understand your question, the connector that's normally on the projector side is actually fused inside the lamp connector part. THe one wire was burnt through and the other just had a few strands left holding it on.
