Yes I do have a Mikado Seisakusho Co. Ltd green tube. I also use the 70/30 ratio for ethylene glycol/glycerine(glycerol). Where did you buy the tube? Direct from manufacturer?

I contacted Mikado a while ago. They refer me to Q4-Services. One set is not enough to order directly from Mikado. Don't know at which specific quantity you can directly place an order or you could anyway. I guess 20+ sets you catch they interest. At Q4-Services you can order Mikado tubes in low quantities. Price is about 930$ for a bare tube plus shipping, customs/taxes. Tube comes with 12 month or 2000 h warranty. Q4-Services has a really nice contact! I never purchased a tube there because 3500$ + customs for a set is equal to a (for me) good digital pj. So I tend to go digital if there isn't a chance to get the tubes at lower price.

I contacted them and they told me to order directly from Barco in Belgium or from Q4 Services LLC in U.S.A. The tube I have came indeed from Barco.

Just checked all my tubes and all the lug tubes are made in Japan. I do not know why but somewhere I remember that they used to be made by Panasonic. Could be Mikado bought the fascilities from Panasonic?

All the originals are Panasonic, Barco put their own sticker over the top of the Panasonic logo.

This is a lug from a 2010 Marquee. It says Panasonic on the label. So my guess is VDC stopped before 2010 Panasonic stopped in 2011? Mikado is the only one left now? Oh and Boeijjing?

Why are you posting these here and not in the tube comparison thread i made?
The Boeing tubes look very much the same, there is hardly a visible difference.
