Oh, i forgot. Take the fan board R763542 ( behind the middle fan ) from the 909 and put it on the CineMax to see if you still get the shut down warning.

Found a broken transistor (Q1 = BC857B) in R763452 fan control board. Attachments:

Tried to put the 'broken' fan control into Reality 909. No fan failed message but the middle rear fan not spin. I'll try to mount the fan control of 909 into my Cinemax. It's very difficult to mount this little board into Cinemax. In 909 instead is very easy.

Yeah, I know. You don't have the space like in the 909, because of that aluminium plate. Just make the connection on the mainboard with a long pincer or something. You don't have to fix the board yet, just let it floating ( put a piece of paper to avoid a short somewhere ). Nice found. Let's hope this is the problem.

What is the correct position of the jumper of the focus board for fan control feature?

Ok fixed! But actually the rear middle fan spin at startup. The position of the jumper of the focus board is "fan".

Bravissimo. Yes, +FAN is the right position on the focus board. Change the jumper position on the R763452 too and see if it makes a difference on the middle fan.

No jumper in the R763452. Are you sure?

Yes, there is a jumper. Just like on the other fan boards R763706.

Yes, there is a jumper. Just like on the other fan boards R763706. You said jumper on R763452 in previous post. There isn't jumper in that board. I don't touch jumper in R763706. But I'll check both R763706's jumpers

Yes, you understood me right. Jumper S86 on the R763452. Leave the jumpers on both R763706 as they are.

Ok, i took a deeper look at those boards. If the PCB numer is 781107-X, there is no jumper. This is the older version, used in early BR909's. Only the newer PCB version 781262-X used in CineMax, Cine 9 and later BR909 has the jumper. Take a look at the board from CineMax ( with the broken Q1 ), must be the one with S86 jumper on it. The best thing you can do than, is to replace the broken Q1 tranny. You'll find it everywhere for less than 20 cent. The one you need is BC857b, SOT-23 type.

Yes, you understood me right. Jumper S86 on the R763452. Leave the jumpers on both R763706 as they are. I found the differences between the R763452's fan control boards. The one of Cinemax don't have S86 jumper and J85 slot. However I mount the board of 909 and I notice that the jumper appear open in both options. Attachments:
