RWI I think was 6.3. Latest version I believe. Oddly enough on the 808s using this version turns the old style remote completely useless, so I only have that in my Onyx. The ctrl needs a 1 mbyte eprom, originally 27c801. Same size as the last version 808 you uploaded (hence I will also need to get at least one of those eproms though I might have a few out in my workshop, will see). Thanks for the info. The 7.61 firmware turns the BG808s into a BG808s2 whatever that is. I have never seen the RWI 6.3 my latest is 5.10.

Keep in mind, this did not work or did not work optimally with old remotes. I am not sure if it didn't work at all or if it only worked with the rear reciever. Attachments:RWI RC5 V 6.0127c64 (8 KB)

The Cine series used a different system to the rest of the Barco CRT projectors. Well the 8 and 9 series not sure about the 7. Thanks for posting firmware.

Not exactly the topic belonging to 808S, but do someone have the 6.30 firmware for the 808 "not-S" ? I'm reworking on this machine as I might have a project for it, actually it has 6.10 firwmare and RWI 5.06 To my knowledge I'll get the left side correction which is interresting (and Seagull) with the version that should be the last one for 808 not-S I share the file I have, dumping its EPROMs : - Controller EPROM is a ST M27C4001-12FI (512K*8) - RWI EPROM is a ST M27C64A-20FI (8K*8) (nothing is sure if these are the original ones) Robin

Hum apparently, after some search, it won't be enough to get the left-side keystone. My findings at looking to the schematics and comparing 808 and 808s boards : left side correction is handled by IC13, which they didn't implement finally. Newer board also have IC406 : Segull correction ; and IC409 the precorrections. There is also a R762714 Seagull board to implement it, but as it seems it has only one Bella chip, it won't bring the left correction, I believe. I need to find also another Bella 4 chip and try transplanting it Also they changed/corrected the hardware address wiring. Robin

Hey Robin, Some years ago, I had to upgrade my BG808 with newer style convergence driver R762518, the mini-board R762714 and software version 6.32 in order to get seagull and left side adjustments in the menu.
