It initially powered up fine. I then switched the input to my Karaoke Laser Disk Player (also a Pioneer). The power stayed on for about 1 minute then turned off. The MCACC light on the front panel started to flash continuously and the Power button quit working. The owners manual says to call an authorized Pioneer repair center.
If I hold down the Multi-zone on/off button (third from left) and the Tune down arrow button (seventh from left) simultaneously on its front panel for about 4 seconds, the MCACC light will disappear and the power will turn back on. But after about 4 seconds, the power will shut down again and the MCACC light will start flashing continuously again. I've tried this procedure several times but can't get the machine to stay powered up. Thank you for your help.
P.S. I have no experience whatsoever with electronic appliances.
