I recently acquired this Pioneer unit and it has the problem of freezing up and you are not able to turn it off except by unplugging it and starting over. I do know this is a common issue and would like to know if there is a solution to this problem. The local tech does not want to touch it nor does Pioneer. I have been told to simply junk it and move on.
I am a hobbyist and do not have a ton of test equipment but would appreciate any help available.. If it is a wasted effort also let me know.. Just doing this to pass the time during this pandemic.
