I was curious as to what parts were causing this issue with those models because I've had the same thing happen to my LX86 and 56. A factory reset gets them working again and as long as I don't use the AM/FM tuner or preset stations from it, they continue to work OK.
They are much newer models and unlikely to share any common components to the 92/94 but the designs tend to evolve over time and much like the DSP chip problem, these things can span a number of years before it's fully eradicated.

The main cause was the resonator for the main processor. There was a defect in the original part causing the failure and the replacement part appeared to not have the defect. But it was an odd rare part that other model Pioneers did not have. I was often contacted by other model owners and never saw another model using this same type part.

It's good to know and makes sense that something basic that can affect the main micro could be the culprit.
Mine would start to give the same symptoms after being in use for a few days and quickly get worse. I noticed it was after I setup half a dozen preset FM stations using the tuner. It would eventually become totally unresponsive.
I'm fairly certain the presets are stored in the 1G NAND used by the media processor, so I removed that and copied it to a new chip. The old one didn't test as having bad sectors, so I'm not convinced it was the problem.
The LX86 has been running fine in daily use for a couple of months now but I haven't bothered with the AM/FM tuner since.

I also found an old discussion on AVforums about the same problem with the LX56. One owner had several units replaced under warranty and they all did the same thing. Nobody ever posted anything regarding a solution but it seemed to be a bad batch from early on in production.

I personally thank you very much for your help, but I'm still looking and I still can't find that REGULATORY IC, the ones from Pioneer don't seem to treat me properly here so as not to find spare parts

Have you tried contacting the eBay seller e-best_trade for a quote?
He is very helpful with hard to find components and is a reliable source I have used for several years.

I see that you were asking about the freezing problem on the 92/94 txh. What did you want to know. I had a newer version 9xxx and the source crashed in a month

I decided to buy some of the AAT4614 and some AAT4610 used for the same function in the SC-LX models because I like to have spares.
I ordered mine directly from e-best_trade today and they were cheaper than the other eBay source that is currently on holiday.

I ordered mine by direct contact with the seller and avoid eBay charges. He doesn't have those parts listed.

I think the minimum order is 10 pieces because of the low cost. They were only $0.7 each so not very expensive to buy. Postage was $4.
