Good day,
my brother in law brought over his Pioneer VSX-1130 wich suddenly didn´t power up anymore. When connecting AC Power the "Advanced MCACC LED" starts flashing, nothing else, Power Button has no function.
I found a Service Manual at (https://elektrotanya.com/pioneer_vsx-1130-k_vsx-90_av_receiver_rrv4596_2015_sm.pdf/download.html ) wich is for the 110V version, however mine is the 220V European Version.
In the Service Manual on page 32 i found a error indicators chart wich states two possibilites for the flashing MCACC LED: "AMP DC" or "Analog Power Supply Error". I tried the Relase Mode procedure, then the Receiver will power on for 3-5 seconds and will shutt off indicating the flashing MCACC LED again.
I retried the procedure several times and also tried to perform a Factory reset during the short "ON period" but the error persists.
From the error indicators chart i read "AMP DC" error will process 1.Muting on, speaker relay off > 2."AMP ERR" flashing > 3. Shutdown > 4. MCACC Led flashing and the "Analog PSU error" will shuttdown immediately without Message.
Since i can´t see any message when the receiver is shutting down i guess i can skip measuring the "AMP DC" and should check the Analog PSU. However i have no clue where to start and would be very thankful if someone can give me a hint what i should start to measure.
Tools available: Multimeter, Soldering Iron, Simple Hotair gun, Basic Electronic Components.

I don't like repairing Pioneer receivers. I did not have much success with them, but I would suspect a short at one of the amp channels. Measure the final transistors on the heat sink for short.
