Was the information regarding what was done to the board for this repair ever disclosed? I understand that someone was probably supplementing their income from it but now the parts are no longer available, surely it wouldn't do any harm to make the repair detail public?

I only ask as I've experienced similar random freeze ups on some of my Pioneer models. The unit stops responding to the remote, won't change input, volume won't respond and they take a long time to turn off.

The only thing that seems to have stopped this happening is if I don't use the AM/FM tuner and in particular don't store any preset stations. This doesn't bother me too much as I mainly use the internet radio but it would be good to find a fix for this annoying problem. A factory reset always clears it when it occurs.
