when you say tubes shot, how worn? Large area or small?
I imagine this is an AC set?
They are pretty dark. Yes AC. This was also just a test unit. I am not sure about the deflection board either. It has been so long I dont remember if this was the one that ended up with a deflection problem. I am clearing out stuff even if stuff goes in the trash.
There are two boards on the lid, H-DEF with the tunnel heatsink, and the other is the HV unit. Both are interchangeable betwren the models, although th HV unit has some sealed trimpots those should be set to the flyback transformers. If I were you I'd keep an A-drive board as it has two STK392-220, those are hard to find, and othetwise run very hot on F-drive and C-drive boards. The F-drive is running cool and fail rarely therefore it is a good source for the STK chips.
mastertech: Merry Christmas to you too. Not many holiday people around any more.

kevin5418: Anyone has the Velodyne hgs12bg MPS board schematic ? thank U

mastertech: According to the SM ic711 must be installed with the firmware already in it. It can then later be upgraded. The correct ic is around 50 dollars. If you installed a blank ic it will not work.

ralph: Hello mastertech, sorry for the delay, if I replaced that IC, I was with short circuit, blocked the 3.3 volt regulator, put a new one but still do nothing, what could I do? Thanks for the reply

mastertech: Did you replace ic711?
Aug 12, 2018 18:55:42 GMT -5
mastertech: Just to clarify you replaced ic711 (STM32F101ZG), correct?
Aug 10, 2018 20:58:16 GMT -5
ralph: Hello, Mastertech, I'll send it to you
Aug 10, 2018 18:58:46 GMT -5
mastertech: I have no idea on the context of what you posted. Link me the manual and I can look it over.
Aug 8, 2018 20:05:37 GMT -5
ralph: This is what the manual says:
Aug 8, 2018 19:44:59 GMT -5
mastertech: Nope. That is only to update a preprogrammed CPU. It needs basic firmware just to function. Without that it does nothing. You most likely purchased a blank CPU. The service manual would be more specific but I do not have one for that model.

ralph: Hi, mastertech thanks for responding, but still without firmware Denon should appear information on-screen, so then update it via USB?
Aug 8, 2018 19:25:45 GMT -5
mastertech: Most likely has firmware.
