See my earlier posts about this receiver. I thought I'd fixed it by replacing the DAC chip, but there's another problem I need some help with.
All HDMI inputs and all DSP sound fields work fine now, but the analog inputs (e.g. AV5/6, Audio, Tuner etc) only work properly in Direct mode. In any other sound field mode, they are very quiet and muffled - not distorted, just quiet and muffled. I need to turn the volume up to between -20 and 0dB, where around -30dB is about right for other (normal) inputs.
Inputting a 1KHz sine wave at 500mV into the left channel of AV5, I can scope a sine wave of around 40mV at the ADL output of IC201 (SELECTOR and E.Vol), and at pin 7 (VINL) of IC61 (DIR/ADC). Don't know what happens to it then.
Bit stumped with this one because DSP, DIR/ADC, DAC and SELECTOR/E.Vol all appear to be working fine for digital inputs, or in Direct for analog inputs. But not for any of the other analog sound fields.
