Hi All, Could anyone help me with some advice on the integrated chip on an Onkyo TX-NR515 power supply? Our house got struck by lightning, but now an assessor has looked at it I figured I'd pull it apart and see if it's a simple fix before buying a new one. Part Q9001 has blown (see pics), however finding a replacement is beyond me. The physical chip is stamped MIP2M4 238S2h, the circuit diagram labels the part an MIP2M4 0MSSCF. I can find nothing at all on google about either, let alone where to get one. I have found other MIP2M4 chips, but I don't know much about them. How relevant is the second part of the name? I have found ones that end in 142S6d, 145S6c, 048S6b, 342S7b, 144S2b at a glance, but I'm not sure if this denotes anything of importance in what it does, or whether any MIP2M4 chip will work?? Or if you could recommend one I can buy that would be a suitable substitute. Sorry if this is a dumb question, my electronics experience is limited to making things from a plan... Also I should point out that I can't buy a replacement board either, only one shop in Canada shows up on google and they are OOS. Thanks very much in advance.

Did you look up the datasheet for it? I have a feeling, that the second part does not matter, but I'm not sure about it.

Yes, just the MIP2M4 number is relevant. The other numbers are not.
