Hi everyone, I have this fault with my amp and want tro know if anyone knows what might be causing the fault and if it is worth fixing?
The unit works perfectly when you switch it on and then after a while (anything from 5 mins to 2 hours) the audio just outputs really loud white or grey noise to the speakers - all of them I think, including the sub woofer. The video still works and audio pass-through still works. The only way I can find to stop the noise is to put the unit into standby and then turn it back on.
My son has been using this to play drum and bass really loud for long periods of time. I have this configured with 5+1 surround speakers (monitor audio vector 10,20 and sub-woofer) I love the normal sound quality and usually listen to music on the extended stereo setting. The unit is boxed-up while I move house and I need to know if it worth setting up or if I should be looking for something new.
