Hi all, ive still got issues here, the image is quivering horizontally, more noticable at the sides. I have swapped every board in the set, apart from the motherboard. It does this with both controllers, and regardless of which other boards are present. Same on ports 3 and 5 Removed the LIMO PRO which made no difference. Swapped MOOME, but that had no effect. I also swapped the splitter, which had no effect. Unless theyre both rooted with the se issue, i doubt it though, no arcs from there or noises. If someone has a brand new Quad to sell me id be happy to purchase that, because that and the tubes are the only two items i have NOT swapped. The quads i have here are all incorrect for this set, being those with the smaller focus wire fitted, the Cine 9 and 909 dont have that, even though these other quads work, they all squeal and buzz, and always have. Never had this shaking before though. Tearing the rest of my hair out here, makes very little sense that no boards swapped changed it at all, so id have to think its either the quad, or a tube/lead causing this. Cheers all

Ill add to that, the image center is dead still, only the outer areas quiver, more so left and right.

And its all 3 tubes equally, convergence stays together while it quivers.

I seem to remember someone, not that long ago having a similar image stability issue and in a short time the quad failed completely. So I think your assumption could be valid. It's to bad these quads can not be more repairable.

And some one else re built them on Curts and posted pics. I forgot who, one of the asian fellows. Nashou

Quads are coming, three brand new ones ordered via a more reliable source.
The last two i paid $250 USD for, both dead allready, claimed to be near new, arrived less than 12 months ago with black build up on the lead... From testing... And they buzzed straight off.
Will report when they arrive if it corrects the quiver, but ive replaced every single other part with no change.

I use a quad with a smaller wire from my 809 that works fine. I put the smaller wire in the splitter block that I took form my 809 and taped it somewhere to the chasis.

Yeah mate im now back on my original quad that had an arcing lead, fixed that issue, and saw this: L1 there looks a bit like if it hasnt failed, it soon will, and C47 has a bit of a buldge in the top... The quiver is significantly less though with this other quad, its not the EHT board that was causing it because i had previously swapped that.
