Yes I tested this board before sending. No trembling and every zone convergence worked on all colours. Also red and blue converged with green bow etc.
If this one behaves exactly like the old one you might think that you repaired the old board and have another issue.
If you disconnect the two connectors to the controller on the convergence does it not tremble anymore? That is the first thing that comes to my mind to test. Perhaps the controller sends bad wavevorms or the powersupply is not steady. I think if the trembling disappears after removing both connectors it is the controller. I would not go any deeper untill Mastertech writes here. Easy to make things worse. Also i would not test for long times.
On second thought better wait with testing till we know the board will not be damaged by the controller or the powersupply. Might also be that this board is immediately damaged just like the former board.

I think his convergence board was fixed back when he replaced I90. And then when it still did not work it was days later until he found a bad solder on a transistor from tech error. So I have not thought the conv board was still a problem since then. I was then requesting some more tests to try to verify if it was coming from the controller or PS but he stopped trying to find the problem so that was the end, until now. If you would like to try to help him narrow it down Fox, go right ahead. I will watch to see how it goes.

Ok I read that there was a resistor getting very hot. This resistor was in the part of the convergence that does the red colour. So you asked if that red resistor is hotter than the blue resistor or the green resistor. We never got an answer. I would suggest trying the board again for a few minutes to not risk overheating the resistor and answer the question. But knowing Decibel the answer is probable an obvious yes that he does not want to repeat If this so Decibel?

Than if all 3 get to hot (see numbers on a page back) the powersupply is the problem in which case smps2 is the cullprit. I got them available

We did so much tests that it is even hard to remember. When we were convinced that we have solved everything I realized that was impossible to converge the red. They followed further testing but we never managed to repair this board and I got tired to redo other tests. Adding, the several tests caused some damages in the boards. So I decided to replace the convergences board. Now I bought a definitely good board but came back the problem of the trembling. The good news is that there are no resistors overheated or burned.

I sent the two broken convergences boards to dummyload. I sent also a original controller. He will try to repair the damages that I did.

Ok I just swapped SMPS board. Now all issues seem disappeared. No tremble, ok convergence. I pretty afraid to say "another CineMax risen". In next days I lift the projector in ceiling. Then ... with calm ... will try to fix the issue of spare SMPS.
