So after renewing our flat's electric wiring the projector and the screen got back to its place. Actually the screen had to be shifted by about 5cm, but that was because it was originally mismounted. Now I am facing a problem I don't really understand. I have to use excessive vertical keystone to get the horizontal lines at top and bottom parallel to the screen edge. The screen height is 109cm and if all vertical keystone nulled out (including key-balance), the difference between left and right is about 7cm in picture height. At first I thought that the projector isn't perpendicular to the screen. That could be but I checked that the projector's sides are parallel to the walls (ok within 1cm at the projectors length). Then I tried to move (turn) the screen since where the vertical size is bigger that side should be farther from the lens plane. Moving one side of the screen 30cm (!!!) closer to the machine didn't solve the problem, my installation sure isn't that bad. So all in all for nice parallel horizontal edges I'd have to use a vertical keystone near to 70% as opposed to 10% that is ideally allowed. I am curious about your ideas, what should I am missing, what could be the solution? I'd avoid to leave the V-keystone at 70%, because the convergence board already running very-very hot.

Is it set properly for projector orientation, ceiling, floor, front, rear including convergence system?

Have you tried a spare vertical board?

I don't have any spare boards for the XG.

So I neutralized every alignment settings, and redone them (roughly), now V-keystone settles around 40% when the convergence board set to normal gain (prior it was at high gain setting, which adds about +15% gain compared to normal). With this I think I could live with...

When you say vertical youre talking about adjusting the sides?
The top and bottom should be close to zero, the side though could be up around 60-70, that isnt unusual. Mine is about 10-20 but it is pointing about 2-3° downward, the projector is mounted quite low but the screen is very high on the wall so i can watch it comfortably laying in bed. The image is very nearly square on the tubeface and using most of the phosphor area, very little adjustment is required on any setting to get it all perfect.

Are your yokes all firm against the tube bells?
