I have tried cabling swaps, manual factory reset, power cycling of all network components.. Router no longer sees the unit. DHCP is on.. No issues with router permissions, everything connects instantly except the vsx. I get a "PLS WAIT" on display. I cannot access the Network onscreen menu through NETRADIO. It also appears the front USB port is dead. The unit had network connection hiccups randomly a few months prior that required a 10 minute power disconnect to rectify. Now, epic fail. Any commonality to the 2 failures? Any ideas are welcome. I love the unit but this is unacceptable!

You say the USB port appears dead. Can you verify this?

I have a VSX-90 with the same issue. Anything requiring network access results in "Please wait" flashing on the display. I am unable to access the Home/Setup menu, Net Radio, Pandora... etc. I've attempted a factory reset and messed with the diagnostic menu but have had no luck. Has anyone stumbled upon a solution other than returning to Pioneer for servicing?

Are you asking for a magical solution or looking for assistance in doing testing and troubleshooting to possibly find the problem?

Are you asking for a magical solution or looking for assistance in doing testing and troubleshooting to possibly find the problem? My first choice would be a magical solution if someone has found one... but if you know of anything I can try, I'd be appreciative. I've done a factory reset (hold "Enter" and press "Standby", select "Reset") many times which made no difference. I've also... -left it unplugged ~12 hours, no luck. -left it on ~12 hours and the issue still persists. -attempted to update via button combination in standby but the usb does not appear to be functioning. (Pressing "Enter" on "yes" does nothing) Everything else appears to work as normal except for the home menu, anything network related and the usb. Almost everything results in flashing "Please wait...". Thanks in advance.

Looks like you need to get out a Digital Multi meter open her up and do some testing if you think you know how That is what Matertech was getting at. Athanasios

Athanasios Trust me, I'd love to but it's still under warranty... I would rather avoid the long service/exchange wait if possible. I have to say, I do love the box though, assuming this one's a lemon. If anyone has any ideas outside of cracking her open, I'd appreciate the input. Marcus
