Guys, i want to replace some 47uF 400V electrolytic capacitors ( SMPS on Cine 9 ) with new ones of the same value. The problem is, they are soldering-star type and i can't seem to find them anywhere.
It is safe to replace them with regular radial-leaded type ? And how to mount them on the PCB ?
On the ones above, the middle pin is positive and the whole star ( 3 pin ) is negatieve. Did someone ever converted a soldering-star to radial leaded elco ?
