Since most of the people here already have a Cine 9 or 909 I am wondering if there is any HD117-12/24 lenses laying around you want to sell cheap? Matching C-elements can come too!

I think mostly in retro machines, but often used in Barco 808 LC mods too.

Are those the single focussing lenses with short throw?
What do you plan on doing with them?

Yes, they are short throw, but they are double focus lenses. And quite good resolution. Only downside they need their own C-elements off which only green tinted exists over the clear, and even the green is very-very rare. In fact tse used HD117 lens on the Marquee 8500 HR project, and he posted quite nicely resolved 1080P scanlines on a 8" setup. The goal of that post was of course to show off the special hi-res 8" tube, but sure the HD117 lenses played an important role in the final result. I believe the HD-18 lenses are not quite up there. Probably the HD-134 lenses would be the best thing to have on an XG LC but they are both ridiculously expensive and rare.

I must say those LC ones on my XG are harder to get razor sharp compared to the HD-144s i had when it was AC.

This is exactly why I am looking for an alternative.
