Im now losing HV all together. Runs for a couple minutes at the most, then the image fades as it expands away to nothing....
I remember having this happen before but cant recall what i did to fix it.

After an hour of off time i pulled the quad out, still very warm...
Split in the potting.
The arcing episode mustve put it under a bit of undue stress.

That's too bad ,another dead quad. Anyone knows in what range the impedance is when air gets conductive and creates an arc ?

Hi I did not read all but your problems started after you changed a tube? Did you try to change the tube back? Some tubes ar bad from the factory. Sorry if this was already addressed.

God yeah, first thing i did!! The tube was sold to me as new and that was what i asked for, but its been used before. Why it was removed from a set and it's LC housing if it worked makes no good sense does it.
