I use the boards all in my older set, the 909 is not complete and is sitting on the floor for spares.

If you don't have I2C errors, it is ok. However, the newer style mainboard should offer more stability and protection. Should I have that, I would use it and keep the old one as a spare.

There is no errors, however i do generally use the newer boards. I was under the impression they were all compatible.

They are compatibile Case, i'm just saying that using the mainboard with caps and keeping the one without as a spare, is what I would do.

Yeah i reckon thats what i might do, ill swap the splitter for a brand new one while ive got it out.
