Hi all i know there is a couple people here using simulation grade tubes, and i know theyre better in many ways. My question is how much of a step up is a simulation grade red or blue compared to a standard red or blue? I can see where the extra sharpness from the green will make a bit of a difference, but interested to know if its worth it for red and blue. I have a new red here with no markings on it, and i need a new blue tube either way.

So after 400hrs on the simulation green P19LUG tube, and having just removed it from the set to install a zero hours Barco OEM tube, so far id have to say the simulation grade tube had a slightly tighter beam focus than the stock standard tube.
I cant recall if i got the same super tight scanlines at the early stages on the simulation grade tube, but by 50 or so hours it was extremely sharp.
Im up to 17hrs on the new green, and so far it is not quite as sharp as the other one.

The sim green is about the same sharpness as my sharpest red standard P19LUG.
The standard green is about the same as my 7,500hr red P19LUG.
