I just subscribed to Netflix and can't get 1 of my pc's to install Silverlight which is needed to play Netflix video. It installed fine on my other pc but I keep getting this error on this one: " install.exe is not a valid win32 application". I tried some of the suggestions I found on the internet but no success so far. Anyone have any suggestions?

What operating system are you running? Windows? If yes, what version?

Ok, I will assume you are using 32bit XP and trying to install 32bit Silverlight. So without going back and forth with questions here is what I want you to do.
Download a copy of the newest version of Silverlight to your desktop. Put your cursor over the file (Silverlite.exe)and right click your mouse. A box will open and depending if you use winzip, winrar, 7zip or whatever, look for open with that program. Example, if you use winrar, when you right click, look for "open with winrar", and select it. That program should open with a bunch of files. Now make a folder on your desktop and name it Silverlight. Then extract those files into that folder. Close that program and then open the folder you made. There should be a file named "install.exe". Put your cursor over that file and right click and then select "rename". Leaving the .exe rename it something else, like silverlight. Then hit enter. The file should now be "silverlight.exe Now double click on that silverlight file and the install should complete. Let me know how it works out.

That had to be the easiest process I have ever had. I think it only to 1 minute to install and it works just like it should. I can't believe it was that simple. And yet I could not find this on the internet already. Thanks a lot!!

i strongly advice to upgrade to win7, as XP is no longer patched. and seeing as you have it hooked up to the internet, this is a possible security hazard.
