Price? I cant remember, its been sitting here a couple years. I havent done full astig or setup yet, just a quick one to get the tube aligned for break in, i let it run over night with contrast and brightness at 25.
It is already significantly sharper than the other green, and will likely be much better when correctly astiged.
My horizontal board is playing up at times so ill swap that out and do full setup from scratch. Im going to swap out the vertical board at the same time to see if that is the cause of the distortion i have affecting the left side of my raster, im not sure if its controller related or just the H or V board.

Even with those massive hours the tube had very little visible wear, but was difficult to get focused well and took a lot of time to get it looking good. Due to the hours on it the projector mustve been running the G2 level much higher, it needed the focus yoke all the way forward and still had midpoint focus set on 40, which meant outer zones were very close to the limits. Dynamic astig struggled to get round dots near the corners as well. In the last setup i noticed that pushing the gain up on the green resulted in blooming at lower than normal levels, which could not be corrected any other way apart from lowering gain or contrast.

How much a simulaton green? One thing for sure though, this simulation green has a much smoother phosphor grain and is significantly brighter than my other two greens. i wouldnt mind grabbing one for the XG.

So im up to 20 hours, it seems to be getting sharper as time goes on. Very visible scanlines at 1920x1080 60Hz.
