Hi guys, little progess. The vacuum pump takes more time than I thought. Whatever, through the lack of small high voltage capacitors, splitting transformer and multiplier would makes things much easier. The transformer stays in his old position right next to EHT board and the multiplier moves at the side from the brojector. At the side should be engough room for 7x 25x90 mm (DxL) caps. Also the old case doesn't have to be recycled. Makes things even more easier. Transformer and muliplier could be connected through (shielded) high voltage cable. Any arguments against splitting transformer and multiplier? None at all, its a great idea i had given it some thought a while ago but i dont think i ever posted about it. There is plenty of room to fit it, even if it was moved to the tube housing space near the splitter. There is loads of space in that section. Using the original quad housing to hold the multiplier would possibly give the ability to space things out a bit more, meaning it should be even less likely to arc. This may mean 2 quads become 1 good one built in 2 parts, unless another little box can be used to house the items.

Hi, is important to know, if possible, the turns ratio of the input transformer if he goes in short, you can not made another identical. for to arrive to target any idea is good.
