Hi all After only 130 hours, my new green P19LUG has a very faint but visible wear pattern. The pattern is the full 16:9 screen area, and looks very even all over. Im quite suprised to see wear this quickly. Who else has installed a new green P19LUG and seen wear this soon?

Was the tube broke in?

I thought so, i ran it at 25/25 brightness/contrast with full green screen for about 8-10 hours.
What happens when theyre not broken in? Id expect the wear should slow right down after the first 100 hours or so if theyre not broken in.

What break in method do you use?

As far as I know without burn-in the tube can wear faster, premature wear may occur, but I'm not 100% sure...

I don't know... the wear you already have is irreversible anyway...
