I had the chance yesterday to meet Hulio and his wife in person at there home . I had a warm and friendly welcome by them ,very nice people. He has a very beautiful ht room ,finished to detail, I was very impressed. The reason I went was to make a copy of the V3.12 software from one of his controlboards and to replace some software in his other controlboards.(he has several controlboards) One board died during the process ,so brought this one home to hopefully bring it back a life. I have made an update to the programplug reader writer but I will comment on it in the old threat, when I find the time.
@ Hulio thanks again for the welcome and help.

Great stuff Hulio has always been very helpful on these forums! Should be able to flash that controller with the jumper in place and it should work again no problem.

@ Casey This time the emergencie program mode is of no help ,because we have replaced the content of chips I8 & I9 and they are not accessible through rs232 even the programplug alone is not enough. We went a step further again and have acces to total meorie ,but please wait for detailed explanation in the old "barco 9xx memorie update" threat ,first need to work out some new findings from yesterdays visit .

You are more than welcome Dummyload, it was a pleasure to have you at my place. Thanks for your help too, I admire your skills and logical way of diagnosing faults. By the way, you was right about the ground issue on the fan-board. I soldered a wire and no errors anymore.
