Hello guys, I have a sub Jamo 650. it appears this sub is not working anymore as it should be. everything is ok except the volume delivered by the sub is very low. even my amp. cannot detect it when i am doing auto setup. so finally i decided to open the sub: the board inside looks good, no components damaged visually. it is a BASH amp indigo canada 600151 rev 4. i think this is coming from this board because i suspect this is the power stage which is damaged. can you help me on that ? thanks !

Hello,
For those who could have the same issue here is what I found.
After several tests I found a chemical capacitor was shorted to the ground. This capacitor is connected to a gate of a MOSFET and the OFF/ON/AUTO circuitry itself connected to the sense of the audio signal. The sub detect an audio signal and change the state of the ON/OFF signal to amplify the audio signal.
With the capacitor shorted to the ground, the amplification stage was never used.
I changed the capacitor and now it works.
