What is, "barely any voltage"? Did you also test R551 and Q417?

Sorry for vagueness.... Approx. 0.01 dcv. I will double check what you have suggested....

What is, "barely any voltage"? Did you also test R551 and Q417? R551 is measuring 975 ohms Q417 is reading good with diode setting... Been checking all transistors in this area and they are all coming up reading good...

R551 should be reading 100 ohms. Remove it and then recheck Q417. It should not be testing ok while R551 is in circuit.

ok, that should be fine then. Put it back in.
On that amp board locate connector CN404 and with it plugged in and after attempted turn on, test for DC voltage on all lines on that connector and let me know what you get.

Pin 1 reads 0 dcv Pin 2 reads 0 dcv Pin 3 reads 0 dcv Pin 4 reads 0.615 dcv Pin 5 reads 0.615 dcv... Pin 5 being thermal det.
Voltages remained the same powered on as off. During this power up, R486 burnt up!

What size resistor was in R486? Schematic calls for a jumper.

I believe that R487 was a 47 ohm.. I see no jumper???

I just noticed I previously wrote R 486 ?? It's actually R487.... My apologies!

If R487 is smoking then something is bad in the RF channel, most likely something in this box.

I will go over these components! Thank you

Ok, replaced all the outputs in RF channel and discovered a bad diode and replaced. Reassembled and R487 burnt again as well as R482 and R782..... Make anything of the other resistors frying this time?

I am not seeing R782 in the schematic. Where is it located?

Ok, dyslexia is setting in I guess....so sorry, it is R 718, and could be possible it is charred because it it mounted beside R 487...
