Remove TR115 and retest voltage on R154.

I believe R140 is still lifted. Put it in and retest on R154

Did you check the B1+/- voltages?

Remove TR116 and test voltage on the base of tr115 and tr116.

they match -23.66 .
the parts have different rankings one is an 12E the other is an 8XF , I know the last letter designates some sort of voltage ranking. Arent they suppose to be the same? TR115 is one of the new ones. I think I should replace TR116 with a similar one maybe.
one has an HFE of 169 the other 469

Yes, try just TR116 and see what the voltage is on R154. Gotta go for today. Make sure R142 is ok also.

Voltage stayed the same and R142 measures fine

I wonder if TR117 has something to do with it?

Something funny is surely going on especially since when you lift R139 the B1- gets pull way down however if you lift the same resistor on the other channel (R140) is does not affect the B1-.
One or more of those TR's has to be not functioning properly or of the wrong type. I am out of guesses.

One or more of those TR's has to be not functioning properly or of the wrong type. I am out of guesses. Well I got a few I can swap out. Which reaction to lifting R139/140 is the correct one? pulling down the -B1 line or not altering it? Because TR115 was one of the ones I replaced with a new one. Basically everything on that channel I think. What If -B1 only gets pulled way down if either of R139 or R140 are lifted, not both at the same time? I do not think I had a situation where R139 was in play and R140 was lifted alone. I am at work now and need to read back to see what is in play and what is out now. I feel like we are getting closer by trying different scenarios and measuring voltages. Just hard to keep track going back and forth in the thread. Nashou
