Let me know if you want to mess with this more later.

Well in thinking about this we have to also remember there could be some odd ball issues involved here. Like a broken trace somewhere. Or something is wrong with that phono selector. Maybe you should look into that now. Most of that section of the circuit is disconnect from everything else with those resistors and caps I had you remove initially. They are still removed, right?

Yes. Out side of the red lines you drew I do have the TR's still in except fprt he bad half of TR107 . I did look at traces and do not see anything.

What about my lower reading for R147 in circuit but out it measures the 56 k? its half of that in circuit even with all the TR's removed

With R153 removed almost everything to the right of it is disconnected except for D103,D104,D105,R159 which we will be looking at next. If you feel that phono selector is ok then test these 3 diodes and resistor, even for minor leakage on the diodes.

R147 incircuit is still tied to the B+ line through R143 and R145 so I would not think there is anything wrong with your test results.

In circuit is fine unless you show leakage then at least lift 1 leg to recheck to verify. Same with value test of resistor.

All are good .
Can i test power with all these parts removed or will it affect TR108 adversly?
