Startup sequence Is ok until the tubes lights up. Full crt-face edge to edge light heavily for 2 secs, then it auto shutdown. If all three crt neckboard pin-connectors are disconnected from mobo, it runs stable. And G2 reads 978V. It all started with a short between blue crt neckboard touching a chassis heatsink when pivoting the tube to align center cross. Blew F4 fuse in the SMPS. I can see in the schematics of the HVPS, (supplied by this forum) , that HVPS should deliver a 1000V. I can't figure this one out... Anyone has a clue?

What is happening if only the green CRT card is connected?

That is with green neckboard only?
Did you try turning down the G2 knob on the neckboard?

red and blue neckboards are removed? HV is removed from splitter for rd and blue? G2 wires disconnected from red and blue neckboards?
On that green neckboard, remove the black 2 wire line that comes from the rgb input board and test again.
Don't put your hands in projector while it is running with these things disconnected.

Pick a neckboard and grab your DMM and test fuse F1 for open. Then diode test CR10 for short.
