Hi Guys, I have a computer that I use for Vudu streaming to the 919. Vudu is HDX or 1080p. The computer has a GTX750Ti video card. At this stage I am feeding it into the VP50PRO at 1080p@60. Should I be able to go close to matching the picture quality to what I get from the Cambridge (OPPO 103/105 equivalent)? Also is it possible to adjust the porch settings on this card? All info out there is game related. Thanks, Greg.

IMHO it is pointless to connect a video processor after a PC. PC can natively do everything what a video processor can do -actually even more: so you can set gamma, porches, resolutions, even you can choose scaling method and as many video filters you like (if you want) etc. The VGA output of the PC is usualy better than the avarage Moome or HDfury products. As for comparing to an Oppo, people say an Oppo is better in raw picture quality, but it can't do 72hz natively while a PC can, everyone should set his own preferences... talking about streaming materials I don't know, since streams are so compressed that picture quality is already flawed in the stream no matter what you use as a player.
In the nvidia control panel you can enable custom resolutions somewhere (all nvidia cards are the same in this respect) there you can set up a resolution by either simply entering the height and width plus the refresh, but you can adjust every porch if you want as well.

I doubt there is anyway to match the quality of a OPPO 103 setup, with a PC or true any video processor, if i remember right the DVDO has some serious image quallity issues degrading bit and croma resolution quite a lot, PC solutions i have never seen work, everytime i have setup a projector where there was a HTPC involved it was troublesome and never endet up outputting the signal i wanted, its possible related to know how, hardware, and personal skills, i cant say, i just never seen a satisfying end result.
So if you can run it straight from the Blu ray player its is prefered, and then with the 103 you can always connect a streaming source true its HDMI input, and just take streaming for what it is. If the Cambridge player works like the OPPO it has a croma roleoff on HDMI 1 out, But HDMI 2 is reference 1080P 4:2:2 8bit, perfect feed for a moome card.

I used RGB-HV out of the PC for a long time, and only went to HDMI because i use the RGB input for game consoles.
You can set any res and timings you like with nVIDIA, as long as it is within the signal range of the card and projector.

I use the DVDO to do 1080p@24 to 817@72. It works very well. I also do 1080p@48 for 16/9.

I use 1920x1080 at 48Hz from the PC sometimes, but not often.
