Just relocated the business and planed to set up a retro gaming/laserdisc area on the loft. Two Barcos, one data and one graphics 808s + many spare boards should be enough to do the job, yes? Turns out no.
White projector (Graphics): Newer Quad + EHT but most probably bad quad since EHT MOSFET keeps failing immediately after replacement. All green LEDs otherwise.
Black projector (Data): Was working before I moved except for one bad HT lead to one tube which despite my Mylar fix will eventually PD it's way to death. Anyhow, it tries to start three times and then gives up. The G2 board gives a red LED and D246 (+CONV) does not lit up. Tried two different G2 boards with same result.
What can pull down +CONV?

Hello and wellcome here! +CONV is ultimately used by the convergence output (tray), perhaps you'd want to swap the convergence tray from the other projector.

Makes sense! Thanks!
Which boards are compatible? I've got a bunch of them.

All 808 have used essentially the same convergence tray AFAIK

808's projectors start up also without convergence tray. So you can try to remove the tray to isolate issue.

Same article numbers on all boards in both convergence trays.
Problem solved! No ROM, RWI nor Vcontrol board where installed. Now it's up and running.
What parts do I need to steal from my Graphics with bad quad into my Data to make the Data a Graphics, and thus make my LiMo come to life?

Wouldn't it be easier to move the quad and HV board over?
Though actually you can get away with just popping the ROMs over on the processor board. Check if your RGB input boards are newer version (surface mount components) or older. Use the newer one if you can they're slightly better.

I transplated the Graphics controller into my Data, and sure enough, it fired up and reported itself to be a Graphics. I'm doing some wood-work now to fix the projector into position, but the LiMo is still not showing up in the menus and the composite input is not displaying anything. Decibel, you sold me the LiMo many years ago. Which ROM do I need to talk to the LiMo?

Laserdisc scan doubling will have to wait, but me and my mates did just enjoy Hell or high waters from VGA source in our newly built theater. Audio needs more work, but it was batcave dark and holy moly had I almost forgot how smooth and beautiful a CRT projector paints video. No rainbow flickering here and the blacks where awesome :-)

You need firmware 7.61 and RWI 5.09
