Hi Guys,
Am planning to readjust the P700 (at 69v ) for the hthd, looking at the service manual it only say pin 1 of j200. Problem is, it is at the bottom of the main smps board.Which means i have to solder a long wire to be able to use it as a test point. Am i reading it right? i mean is the test point at the smps board ? or the horizontal board?
Cheers,
Lars

Hi Lars, Without extender boards, soldering a wire to pin 1 of J200 is the only option. Yes, we are talking about J200 on the SMPS sub-board (R763142S). Pin nr. 1 is the highest one, when the SMPS is mounted in the projector. Of course, the easiest way is to solder the wire on the backside of the PCB, like in this picture. Good luck.
