As per title, I bought STR-DN1040 and unit is having some GUI issues. Please take a look here I've attached my own photos as well. At some point, I saw few Japanese characters here and there. Apparently common issue with STR-DN1050 models too. The sound and video through hdmi ports work just fine. I've done so far:
- user initialize
- shipment mode initialize
- all clear initialize
- cleaned hdmi board with isopropyl alcohol (it was very dusty)
Any thoughts lads?
