A friend of mine gifted a TV in subject. There was a display issue: there was a sort of solarization of the colors. Replacing T-board solved the issue. But remain the issue showing in this video (not mine, I found in youtube but is identical). When I forced aspect to 4:3 the issue disappear completely! So I think that the issue can locate in the circuitry that set the aspect ratio. There is a little board equipped by Altera Cyclone 3. I read the characteristics and found that this chip set the aspect ratio of display. Someone can confirm if replacing can solve the issue? Sorry for my poor english I'm italian. Can I check something for repair?

Did the video flicker with the original TCON? Was the replacement TCON new or used?

When the video is flickering can you bring up the tv menu and does the menu flicker also? When I call the menu the flickering stop immediately. In menu, windows or full screen mode, absolutely no flickering. Also forcing aspect ratio in 4:3 the issue disappear completely.
