How many boards does that share with an 852?
when you say tubes shot, how worn? Large area or small?
I imagine this is an AC set?

I think only the "drive" boards and the H-DEF are compatible, they may even have a different PCB but they should work...

I am not sure about the deflection board either. It has been so long I dont remember if this was the one that ended up with a deflection problem. I am clearing out stuff even if stuff goes in the trash.

Yeah the one board ive established id like to have spare is the big one on the top folding lid, it seems to be the one that no one knows how to fix, and so far the ONLY board ive ever had fail.
Would be handy to have a few other boards that are known to fail from time to time, but my set is an 852, so im not sure which stuff will work

There are two boards on the lid, H-DEF with the tunnel heatsink, and the other is the HV unit. Both are interchangeable betwren the models, although th HV unit has some sealed trimpots those should be set to the flyback transformers. If I were you I'd keep an A-drive board as it has two STK392-220, those are hard to find, and othetwise run very hot on F-drive and C-drive boards. The F-drive is running cool and fail rarely therefore it is a good source for the STK chips.

1100 has been trashed. I did save the system board for now but all else is gone.
