Hi everyone. My receivers have a problem, i don't have any sound /analog and digital/. I don't have any indicators on display (L, R, C, SW,SBL, SBR...)missing. I reset receiver - no result. First, try going into setup and turning "DSP BYPASS" on. This will help determine if the fault is with the DSP

Todd, Yamahas suffer from DSP IC as well?

What can i try? Hot air or resold DSP IC?

Try heating that ic if the sound comes back then it's likely defective.

I try to heat first hdmi board, but nothing, and after that only dsp chip, but nothing. Do i have to try anything else?

Have you tried an analog input? If yes, what analog device did you use and which input connections did you use?

I try all analog and digital inputs. I try with blu-ray player, dvd player, gsm, cd player. I don't have any indicators (L, R, C, SW, SL, SR...) on display. I try connect receiver with players with a lot of cables (analog and optical) no result. I don't have sound also on TUNER input.

Do you hear the speaker relays click when you turn on the receiver?

Yes, when i turn on receiver click three relays, stand by relay, main relay, and speakers relay. If i change 2ch stereo to 7ch , also click another relay.
