Hi guys! I'm a new user, my name is Stefano and I live in Italy, I recently bought a Barcoreality 909 (exactly 2 barco, 1 for spare parts), before turning on the crt, i have tested all part, neck and cable, boards and cable, fuses, controller and cable) but when i power on the crt, it stays on for 10 seconds and then the tubes give no signal, i attach 2 video, the crt power on when i press the on/off button near the power cable, and the remote control doesn't work (i can't power off the crt with the remote control).

All leds are ok. Without sources my Cinemax show same leds.

Looks like the main issue is the remote not working, making you can't choose a source ?

Yes the remore controller (internal remote) not working, but if i disable the fan control board i can power off the crt (working Only the power)

I do not think the problem is the remote control. Without sources after a few seconds the identification screen should appear.

Could be that the 9V supply is dropping. C450 and C451 electrolytic capacitors from SMPS sub-board R763142S should be replaced (from 470uF 25V to 560uF 35V). There is a Barco FSB about this hanging around here..... Try the other SMPS from your spare 909 and see if behaves the same.

I said to him about sub board upgrade.

The diagnostic LEDs are all ok, also the two leds of the smps sub board The only sign of life occurs when he unplugs the central fan controller. A clear fan error message appears in the tubes. After a few moments the projector switches itself off. This makes us at least exclude high voltage problems.

I invited him to connect the projector to a PC to see if we could read the voltages.

So between 2 projectors, neither one works?

I recently find the problem with Decibel, i have replace the internal remote control and this work perfectly, but the external remote control don’t work, when i sincronize it, the internal remote control stop working, the only way for use a remote control is to sincronize the internal remote control without the external remote. The Green led of the external remote work but don’t responds to the commands!
