These projectors have been repaired. The problem with these projectors power supplies are the capacitors (not surprising with ViewSonic). These capacitors must all be replaced on the power supply board. This board is in the back of the projector, under the lamp ballast, which is under the logic board. This projector is very complicated and tight for space to assemble and disassemble. If you haven't worked with electronics before you may want to take it to someone you trust. Take your time when disassembling the projector so you do not damage any cables or components.
Once the capacitors have been replaced on the power supply, reassemble the projector carefully, and completely. You are now ready to test. Before testing, make sure your lamp is installed and secured with the screws, and that you have the lamp cover closed and screwed in so it does not open. Plug the projector in and power it on, you should see the power LED switch to off, then shortly after the projector will engage and the bulb will ignite. Your projector is now successfully repaired.
Enjoy!
Thanks to Frankens for finishing the capacitor list!!

Original Post:
Got a couple of these little guys here, they seem pretty decent for their specs.
Problem with both of them: You can plug them in, the blue LED ring around the power button fully lights up, pressing the power button makes the blue LED turn off, and a relay click is heard. Nothing happens for a few seconds.
The projector then makes another relay click and the LED comes back on. Then it makes another click, which after this last click, the projector will allow me to attempt to power it up again, but the same result is had each time.
I have 2 good (supposedly) bulbs here for these projectors. I doubt they are both bad, they both look like brand new, and they are original ViewSonic bulbs.
I looked at the power supplies and ballasts, but couldn't find any bad capacitors/diodes/resistors off the bat. Without a schematic or service manual I really don't know where to proceed from here. Hoping I can get some help on these.
