Mac is the Ampro expert, But I studied them a lot as well (without seeing one in person). In raw specs they are somewhat similar to a NEC 10PG. They are EM focusing, but has no dyn. astig. Theoretically they can go up to 105kHz scanrate but for various reasons it is not advised to run them above ~70kHz for long. They usually go with P19LCP tubes, and most of the time they have coloured C-elements.Lens is plain HD10 or if lucky GT17. It should be fun to play around with one. Make sure it comes with the remote because the projector does not have any buttons.

Yes its gotta have the remote!
From what i can gather it has a large set of spares with it, but the green tube is reasonably worn from what it says. That may not be too much of an issue, they have it set at $1
The cost will be the shipping if theyll ship it!

Are they full multi-sync like an NEC or only like specific scanrates?

Are they full multi-sync like an NEC or only like specific scanrates? They are multi-sync, but as far as I remember they only have composite sync input (ie. 4 BNC per input instead of 5)

It will except all kinds of inputs including 5 wire. Even composite/Svideo if it has the quad decoder card.

Back in the day they were a great projector for their price. 909's and G90's and the like were so pricey many could not afford them so the 4600 was a great fill in. But now a days with 909's and such being more affordable they fall to the way side. They are a fun projector to play with and if you need a low scan rate that the others will not do then there you go. Easy to work on also if need be.

Yes the aim for it would be 240p on a large screen for light gun games. It would be the perfect machine for that with the 9" tubes, you need to have a fair amount of blue brightness for some of the guns to work well.
It may get a bit of a run at 24KHz for arcade games too.

From all i can tell their reliability was pretty darn good too, and everything in there seems pretty basic.
