Hello, I have a Frigidaire Professional Series electric range/oven with a problem. The issue with it is the broiler doesn't seem to work? The element will get warm but never red hot as you want a broiler to be.... The baking element is good , essentially the only issue is the upper broil element. Attached is a pic of the control unit for this stove, hoping maybe to find a schematic for it ?? I believe perhaps the relay is not goood as the transformer makes a buzzing sound but obviously no ac is getting to broil unit. Thanks

That link does not go anywhere and you did not list a model number.

I guess you need to copy n paste the model number after that link? The wiring diagram is available there tho.

Well I looked over the wiring diagram and unfortunately there is no break down of the control module. Of course it is hard to rule out the element without trying a known good one. Or test the voltage at the element connector but just be careful if you do try. Lots of juice there. You might be able to try switching elements if the connectors are the same. If you are sure it is in the control module and that buzzing relay is the one for that element you could try jumping the relay and see if the element come on full. But you may not have any control over the element and would have to unplug the stove to shut it off. Just be aware that if you jump the relay the element may power up as soon as you plug it in. Or just try swapping relays with the other element that works. Just work cautiously with these voltages. Be aware of where hands are and test probes.

Hmm. Maybe I will swap relays first? Btw I ohmed out the element and it appears good resistance wise. Thanks for the help. I'll report back!
