As some of you might have seen on the other CRT forum, I started a thread to count through all the remaining CRT owners.
after a few days, only around 10 answered.
I hope doing this here on this forum, we get more people together.

I pretty much sold or trashed almost all stuff CRT I had. Even sold my digitals. I decided to switch hobbies, LOL.

Obviously the number of users are steadily getting less, but the problem is not with the numbers, but with that they don't hang out on forums. For example I think I know about 3-4 people here in Hungary running various projectors, but they sinply don't frequent the forums. Just think about your friend Tobias, he won't show up in any queries . It's pretty much like testing for COVID-19, you may get results, but you'll never know the real numbers

No CRT's anymore here. I started out with a cheap sony 7 inch projector. That's how I got the virus, From there I went up. Last machine was a hybrid barco 1208s/2 with LC lenses. That I sold because we were rebuilding part of my house and garage. I did have another barco 8 inch. A barco 800 graphics if I remember correctly, but nobody did want it, not even for free. I had to trash it with pain in my heart. Never had the opportunity to get my hands on a decent 9 inch barco. And still the prices are high to get a proper working one with o.k. tubes. I visited a member that had a top condition 909. Man what a picture!! if i could get my hands on one of those .... haha. On the dutch HT forum post about CRT are seldom nowadays. Even when I started out I was one of a few left. When looking for info and going through the history of the posts i can see fragments of the golden era. But you have to be a little nuts I guess, because the tweaking and adjusting never ends... The amount of hours I stared at the barco raster test patterns lol.

Still running the Barco 919. Enough parts to keep it going for some time. It still looks good.

three Barco 9 inch ( 2 cinemax and one 909) two mothballed 8 inch Barcos, with mint tubes. ( 808s Retros and 808 graphics).
no plans of selling these, as my family truly appreciates the PQ, (just watching Netflix movies.)

Hello everybody.
Here I am!!
I have an electrohome marquee 9500 with VIM Gjaky mods + draganm all mods + red and green c-element and HD10 GT17 I also have a shattered 8110 marquee but it was working before I destroyed it ...
I have a fully functional NEC xg 135 lc but put in the cellar in favor of marquees ...
I just bought a VDC marquee 9500 with several mods including the frankenyoke based sony 1292 and HFQ 900 lenses + HD 10 F set. Along with the projector I will also get a case of spare cards .... I can't wait for you to come to my house to install and test it ...
I know that they are very difficult to install and require a lot of time for the right setup and calibration, but for me this has become a passion and a pleasant pastime so I think I will continue with the CRTs ...

I would also like to have a sony G90 in perfect shape and a Barco Cine 9 to add to my collection ....
Sooner or later I think they will come as now prices have plummeted terribly .... :-)
They are extraordinary machines !!

Hi All, I still have my marquee 9500LC with Gjaki mods. connected to my oppo bdp 103D. It's still a pleasure to look at although my image is not as sharp as it could be. I carefully tried to adjust the grayscale but i have some questions that i will ask in another thread.
Regards,
Ron.
