CRT appears to have gone to the way side some time ago. The few that are left seem to talk in private more then in the open, probably because of a lot of the ridicule. In a way you can't blame them when other forums did very little to prevent the abuse in the first place. That was actually part of the reason this forum was created but it was most likely already to late as so much damage was done. CRT ridicule is not allowed here.

there's a huge Retro hype for old gaming systems
all the Pro & Broadcast Monitors are very sought after.
when will this crowd discover the ultimate , CRT projectors?

I just fired up the Marquee for first time in months, still need to change the blue tube, no idea when ill get to it, there is nothing to talk about, as Admin mentions to much shit has been going on in various forums, so we keep it to ourselves in private groups with likemindet or friends and thats it. Ill estimate that the last CRT projector is turned completely off within the next 5-10 years.

That's the main issue with the 909.. it does work well and does not require much maintenance lol hence not much activity

I think the main reason for CRT shutdown is the advent of 4K and various HDR formats ...
Then most of the people who want to do home cinema prefer to have a plug and play product ... Lens focus and Lens shift and in no time you have your film well defined and square on the screen ...
